Things to Consider When Choosing a Wedding Package

Wedding packages, often known as wedding packages, are similar to the bridal industry’s bundle deals and combination plans. As with any bundles, you receive a bunch of products for an agreed amount, and it saves you the hassle of having to source for them individually if you were to go “a la carte”.

While these bundles typically provide better value for money, they do not provide the same level of quality assurance as if you had hired individual suppliers.

Engaging your own providers, on the other hand, would most likely result in more pleasing results for the more picky bride. In addition, because you will be managing the coordination yourself, you will have complete control over the wedding décor, photographer, and so on.

The expense is the biggest disadvantage. If you plan your wedding a la carte, you’ll have to pay vendor rates, which can range from a few hundred to tens of thousands of dollars, depending on the providers you choose.

So it all comes down to what you think is vital for your wedding.

What is included in a wedding bridal package?

Different bridal homes include various products in their bundles. Most, however, focus on the following:

  • Gown rental includes wedding gowns, tea dresses, and evening gowns
  • Wedding accessories
  • Suit leasing
  • Bridal makeup for the trial, photoshoot, and wedding day
  • Corsages
  • Wedding bouquet
  • Wedding photos before the wedding: Studio/outdoor/overseas/local
  • Photo prints chosen (limit is pre-set) (on a CD-ROM)
  • Personalised picture album
  • Portraits in frames (hanging/tabletop)
  • Extras such as automobile decoration, signature book, ferris-wheel picture decoration, and parents/bridesmaids’ dress

Most wedding packages include 25-35 free pictures, a choice of 3 to 5 made-to-measure or off-the-rack dresses with complementary bridal accessories, and 2-3 changes of suits.

They do not, however, include videographers, your banquet supper, or a live band (duh). It also does not account for the 7% GST. This might amount to hundreds of dollars. So don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Bridal packages usually range from $3,000 to $6,000.

Examining the services provided in further detail.

Outdoor and international shoots frequently include additional expenditures such as transportation, facial ampoules, lashes, hair styling, and so on.

Costs for these are not included because wedding studios outsource the makeup artists, and you’ll have to negotiate and pay them directly for “extras”. Furthermore, some prices are divided based on your bridal package.

Check with the bridal studios to see if actual-day makeup and its aspects are included in the contract and if you may opt out by carrying your own products instead of utilising the MUAs.

If you want a one-of-a-kind gown without the exorbitant price tag, try custom dresses! Some wedding stores provide gown customisation for under $3,000, compared to the $6,000-$19,000 range of couture businesses.

Whatever it is, common sense tells me that if you want a specific appearance, don’t go to a wedding business that doesn’t offer dresses that match (obviously).

You may pick an average of 4-5 gowns from a predetermined “tier” – yes, gowns have social classifications as well – ranging from standard gowns to grade “A” gowns.

Some packages enable you to select various dresses for your pre-wedding shoot and wedding day, while others do not. Because rental gowns might become dirty or torn, some studios only allow you to choose from a limited selection of gowns for outside shots.

So, before you agree to a package, double-check the gown specifics. Because here is when you can haggle!
